London. . . We are told that the famous Signiora Gabrielli
is to perform in the Italian Opera at the Haymarket next
winter; that her price is to be two thousand guineas, and a
clear benefit for the season; with this extraordinary
privilege besides, of singing only when she pleases.
A celebrated singer, who lately took a country jaunt with
a noble lord, is returned from her tour, having contrived to
dissipate a sum of three thousand guineas in less than five
weeks.
