Tuesday last, during the procession of the candidates for the Borough of Garrat, the cavalcade stopt near the Kings Bench prison, when the drums, trumpeters, hautboys, salt-boxes, &c. struck up; after which the candidates made their compliments to Mr. Wilkes. The salt-boxes were painted blue, with No. 45 blason'd thereon, in gilt capitals. |
