  So they believe because they were so bred:
  The priest continued what the nurse began, 
  And thus the child imposes on the man.
. . . To talk of a man's being born a gentleman is an
inconsistent as to say he was born a fiddle, and with a
fiddle in his arms.  Nature makes no distinction among her
children:  All are born alike, helpless, naked, poor,
ignorant, and weak . . .
