This morning about thirty strenuous supporters of Mr. Wilkes
set out for Brentford, from the Hoop and Falcon in St.
Martin's le Grand, with colours flying, and preceded by a
band of musick, and taking their course over London bridge,
at the King's Bench prison paid their compliments to the
popular candidate; after which they repassed the river at
Westminster, and proceeding down Pallmall to St. James's
there saluted his majesty with the tune of God Save the
King, which being over they then gave three cheers, and
departed in great jollity for Brentford.
