London . . . On Wednesday a riotous mob paraded through
Epson, with drums beating and colours flying, and committed
great outrages. . .
A person in high life (remarkable for his brutality to his
amiable wife) a few days since locked up her jewels, to
prevent her going to an assembly, because his mistress
wanted a ticket, which could not be granted, and had
threatened to leave him if his lady went and she could not.
No wonder there are so many instances of female infidelity,
if men behave in such a manner.
