London. . . The theatre royal in Edinburgh is the property
of Mr. Ross, who built it. He purchased the patent three
years ago; but on the unlucky accident of the bridge
falling, which made a communication from the old town to the
theatre, Mr. Ross let it to Mr. Foote for three years. Mr.
Foote played there last winter; but not choosing to return,
he has let the two years he has in it to some persons who
have engaged Mr. Digges as an actor and manager.
