Letters from Dublin mention that a certain theatrical
performer there, having some words with one of the
carpenters on the stage during the time of rehearsal,
suddenly knocked him over the orchestra, and the man falling
upon the spikes, was so terribly wounded that he died soon
after. The offender was secured and committed to jail.
