London, April 24. Yesterday afternoon a duel was fought
between a Naval Officer and another gentleman near Tottenham
Court, in which the latter was shot in the arm and face.
The quarrel is said to have arisen at the Masquerade on
Thursday night, in consequence of an affront being given to
a celebrated theatrical lady.
