Extract of a letter from Boston, July 1. Last Saturday
Commodore Bank's first lieutenant, killed in the engagement
with Capt. Mugford, was found by a fifer on Deer island. He
had in his pocket five guineas and four dollars, a gold
watch, and by his side a silver hilted sword.
