Boston, June 12 . . . The British pirate frigate Milford,
after a wearisome struggle of fourteen days, got the
continental brig Cabot (which was mentioned to have ran
ashore on Jeboge rocks, Nova Scotia, some time since) off,
and sent her to Halifax, where she arrived . . . On her
arrival at Halifax, there was a day of general rejoicing;
guns firing, drums beating, colours displayed; and the good,
loyal, runaway Tories (from this town) who remain there,
were congratulating each other on the glorious (as they say)
acquisition. . .
