London, Aug 7. [A description of rioting that took place in
and about Shoreditch, because of the employment of Irishmen,
who would work for lower wages than Englishmen. The last of
19 paragraphs contain the following lines:] So, after the
making about 30 or 40 prisoners, we hope the tumults are all
entirely at an end, and the war between the two national
labourers, happily ceas'd. Among the number of prisoners is
a printer, and a sett of ballad-singers, for daring to set
the affair of Westminister Hall to some tune.
