Extract of a letter from St. Ildesonso, dated Sept. 11. The
court of Spain has not been for a long time so numerous,
brilliant, and gay, as it is at present at the castle of St.
Ildesonso. The perfect health which the King enjoys, and
the good humour His Catholick Majesty is in, gives an air of
content to the whole court, which is sensibly observ'd.
Pleasures are agreeably diversify'd at St. Ildefonso, as
walking, fishing, hunting, plays exhibited by the Royal
Family, and concerts of musick, which last is the evening's
diversion. Farinello's fine voice is always admir'd in
those concerts, especially by the King, who is never tir'd
with hearing him. . .
