Mr. Mossop, the player lately deceased, came on the stage about the same time as Mr. Ross; the first was educated at Dublin, the other at Westminster. The great applause bestowed on each, by their particular friends, gave birth to the following epigram: At Westminster they cry Ross up, At Dublin they cry Mossop; But it is not the test Of which is the best, But which is the worst in a toss-up. |
