The following articles are extracted from the ordinance for
raising and embodying a sufficient force for the defence and
protection of this colony. . . [6 lines]
that there shall be forthwith raised, . . two regiments
compleat, to consist of one thousand and twenty privates . .
. [one regiment to have] eight drummers, and eight fifers;
and the second regiment . . . seven drummers, and seven
