BACDS Family Week

Celebrating our 30th year, BACDS Family Week will be held at Monte Toyon Retreat Center in Aptos, CA from June 25 to July 1.  Our camp program features English Country Dance (led by Sharon Green), Contradance (with Kelsey Hartman) and French Canadian Dance (taught by Yaelle Azoulay), plus classes for children of all ages in dance, music, crafts, and games, and a Waldorf-inspired preschool for children under 6. There will be workshops for singers, musicians, and aspiring callers too.  Camp favorites like stilt-walking and rapper sword will keep the afternoons busy, and this year we’ve added a French Canadian step dance class.

Our camp community includes people of all ages and “families” include parents, grandparents, cousins, friends, and sometimes just yourself.
