Do you play an instrument, but you don’t know any French tunes? No problem! Come join the jam session anyway– the tunes are easy to pick up.
No dance experience? Come check it out! We’ll teach you everything you need to know! The dances are very accessible, and we always offer clear, succinct beginner instruction as well as variations for folks who are ready to try something more advanced.
Bal folk is traditional dancing from France and other parts of Europe. The dances range from meditative and beautiful to raucous and energetic. You don’t have to bring a partner. There are dances in lines, circles, and spirals. When there are partner dances, everyone is welcome to ask anyone in the room to dance. It’s a fun, welcoming party vibe!

There will be crepes, cider, and savory pies for sale!
Consider arriving early to walk around the grounds and look at the amazing stone structures built by The Stone Trust!
