Country Dance Tour to Prague and the Czech Republic

If you love dancing contras, squares and English Country Dance, love to travel and would love to visit Prague and the Czech Republic, I urge you to consider joining us this coming October 2 – 14, 2024!

These Country Dance Tours offer a wide range of activities and different locations. You’ll have opportunities to visit historical towns, museums, UNESCO World Heritage sites, take short hikes, experience local crafts, food and drink, and meet Czech people who are involved with traditional folk dance and song.

The last 3 days of the tour happen in Prague, where we’ll attend the Country Dance Festival Jasana Bonuše. The European Callers and Teachers Association (ECTA) annual conference will be happening during the festival. Nine different callers from Germany, Czech Republic and Canada will be calling American country dances for dancers mostly from the Czech Republic and some from across Europe, including Germany, Denmark, and Austria. Dances will be called in both English and Czech.
