If you answered yes to any of the above, then we might just have the summer job for you! Each year we need help running our summer camp sessions at four facilities:
- Pinewoods Camp in Plymouth, MA
- Camp Cavell in Lexington, MI
- Camp Kweebec in Schwenksville, PA
- Agassiz Village in Poland, ME
Most jobs are for single camp sessions, which range from 4-7 days in length. If you’re interested in a longer commitment, check out the two 6-week positions at Pinewoods.
How to Apply: We are asking applicants for all summer camp jobs to complete a new form – just click the apply now button below! This will help us collect information about relevant certifications and experience, and keep better track of everyone expressing interest.
We will begin reviewing applications after the new year. All applications received by January 1 will receive a response by January 15. Applications received after January 1 will be considered on a rolling basis.

Assistant Operations Manager (Pinewoods)
Commitment: 6 weeks at camp, plus 3-4 days office prep before the season starts
Compensation: $2800
Primary duties: Assist the Operations Manager with administrative and logistical tasks including coordinating camper jobs, creating camper packets, answering camper questions, and other tasks. Help pack up before camp and unload after at the CDSS office.
- Multiple Weeks (Pinewoods Camp)
Dates: July 18-August 29 (6 weeks)
Location: Pinewoods Camp, Plymouth, MA
Bookstore/Auction Manager (Pinewoods)
Commitment: 6 weeks
Compensation: $2800
Primary duties: Manage inventory, display, and public communications related to bookstore sales, staff merch items, and fundraising auctions. Train and support volunteer auctioneers. Prepare auction bills and receive camper payments for bookstore and auction bills. If applicable, manage campers assigned to assist in these activities. Other logistical tasks may be required. At Pinewoods, we will be hiring two people to share these duties for the full 6-week season.
- Multiple Weeks (Pinewoods Camp)
Dates: July 18-August 29 (6 weeks)
Location: Pinewoods Camp, Plymouth, MA
Sound System Operator
Compensation: $1,000
Primary duties: Set up and manage sound systems for classes and evening events, working with program staff to help everyone have the best possible sound experience.
- Cascade of Music & Dance
Dates: August 17-23 (6 nights, Monday p.m.–Sunday a.m.)
Location: Camp Kweebec, Schwenksville, PA
Lifeguard (with CPR/First Aid Certificates)
Compensation: Program tuition and room/board
Primary duties: Be the first point of contact for campers experiencing health concerns (for adult sessions only). Be on duty during scheduled swim sessions and inform campers of swim area rules and safe behavior.
- Family Week at Agassiz Village
Dates: August 8-14 (6 nights, Saturday p.m.–Friday a.m.)
Location: Agassiz Village, Poland, ME - Family Week at Pinewoods
Dates: July 19-26 (7 nights, Sunday p.m.–Sunday a.m.)
Location: Pinewoods Camp, Plymouth, MA - English Dance Week
Dates: July 26-August 1 (6 nights, Sunday p.m.–Saturday a.m.)
Location: Pinewoods Camp, Plymouth, MA - Campers’ Week
Dates: August 1-8 (7 nights, Saturday p.m.–Saturday a.m.)
Location: Pinewoods Camp, Plymouth, MA - Harmony of Song & Dance
Dates: August 8-13 (5 nights, Saturday p.m.–Thursday a.m.)
Location: Pinewoods Camp, Plymouth, MA - SEA Session
Dates: August 13-17 (4 nights, Thursday p.m.–Monday a.m.)
Location: Pinewoods Camp, Plymouth, MA - American Dance & Music Week
Dates: August 17-23 (6 nights, Monday p.m.–Sunday a.m.)
Location: Pinewoods Camp, Plymouth, MA - Early Music Week
Dates: August 23-29 (6 nights, Sunday p.m.–Saturday a.m.)

Requirements: Current Lifeguard, CPR and First Aid certification
Camp Doctor/Nurse
Compensation: Program tuition and room/board

Dates: June 13-20 (7 nights, Saturday p.m.–Saturday a.m.)
Location: Camp Cavell, Lexington, MI - Family Week at Pinewoods
Dates: July 19-26 (7 nights, Sunday p.m.–Sunday a.m.)
Location: Pinewoods Camp, Plymouth, MA - Campers’ Week
Dates: August 1-8 (7 nights, Saturday p.m.–Saturday a.m.)
Location: Pinewoods Camp, Plymouth, MA
Dining Hall Manager
Compensation: Program tuition and room/board
Primary duties: Liaise with facility kitchen staff to communicate camper dietary and meal needs, and facilitate a calm and efficient dining hall experience for campers
- Family Week at Agassiz Village
Dates: August 8-14 (6 nights, Saturday p.m.–Friday a.m.)
Location: Agassiz Village, Poland, ME
Party/Snack Coordinator
Compensation: Program tuition and room/board
Primary duties: Oversee preparation, set-up, and clean-up for all-camp parties and snacks. Portion-out and monitor use of CDSS-provided supplies and camper party donations. Supervise camper assistants.
