Asheville Community Square Dance

All dances will be taught. Beginner and family-friendly! In addition to old-time square dances, there will be a flatfoot lesson, waltzes, a cakewalk, and community old-time jam. Haw Creek Commons is a beautiful spot with outdoor areas, a fire pit, and picnic tables. Bring food or support a local food truck!

• Where: Haw Creek Commons, 315 Old Haw Creek Rd, Asheville, NC 28805
• When: Every first Saturday of the month, September through May. NO dances during June, July, or August.

Old time jam starts at 6 pm
Flatfoot lesson 7 pm
Dance 7:30-9:30 pm
Food truck 6-8:30 pm

Cost: $10 ($5 for kids 12 & under)

Parking: Everyone is encouraged to park at the Haw Creek Elementary School parking lot at 10 Bethesda Rd. It is a short walk across their field to Haw Creek Commons. Those with mobility issues, large instruments, or families carrying young children may park in the lots next to the dance hall.
