One of the UK’s most respected songwriters and musicians, Charlie Dore is a must-see for any fan of modern folk.

Charlie’s songs have been recorded by international legends including George Harrison, Tina Turner, and Celine Dion, but this show reveals that she kept the best songs for herself.

Charlie will play alongside longtime friend, Steeleye Span guitarist, and celebrated multi-instrumentalist Julian Littman.

What to expect: Tender, witty, and dark lyrics, combined with beautiful, breathtaking vocals – Charlie covers an extensive range of subject matters in her songs, from the sublime to the ridiculous.

Expect lots of in-between-songs storytelling too!

About the artist:

Charlie Dore has had a highly interesting career, even by folk standards! As well as being an acclaimed songwriter (she co-wrote Ain’t No Doubt for Jimmy Nail), she is an actor, writer, comedian, and musician in her own right.

Charlie continues to tour and record music, releasing her latest award-winning album Like Animals in 2020.

About the Gig

This event will be held live on Zoom, with a remote sound engineer for high-quality sound. Our gigs allow interaction between artists and audiences, so the artist can hear you applaud and you can even have the chance to ask them any burning questions.

Tickets are £18, with the option to pay a bit less (£12) or a bit more (£30) depending on what is affordable for you. You only need one ticket per household.
