English Clog Dance Class – Advanced / Intermediate

Come and learn this super satisfying and intricate form of traditional dance! This level is open to anyone with previous experience of clog dance or other forms of percussive dance. You’re welcome to try both classes if you’re not sure which level is right for you. Clogs available to borrow or you can dance in any flat shoes with a hard sole (anything that makes a sound when you tap your foot).

We will do a bit of crash course in the basics and then get stuck into steps, style and specifics of Lancashire Clog. I’m really excited to share this well-crafted form with more people! You are welcome to dance standing or seated.

The teacher is Laurel Swift, an experienced clog dancer from England who learnt and performed with Camden Clog, tradition bearers of Pat Tracey’s style of East Lancashire clog.

$160 for 8 weeks – sliding scale options $120-$200. Please get in touch if this is too expensive or if you’d like to try a class

There is also an beginners / improver class 6:45-7:45pm.
