English Country Dance
December 6 at 6:30 pm–9:00 pm EST
$10 – $15- Holiday party with pop-up arts/crafts bazaar, ugly sweater contest, festive attire, and possibly potluck snacks.
- Newcomers welcome – come for the lesson at 6:30pm.
- Dancing to live music at 7pm: Carol Compton (piano, accordion, recorder), Amy Englesberg (piano, accordion), Peter Macfarlane (violin).
- Teaching by Martha Kent and Barrett Grimm.
- Masks are optional; COVID vaccine and boosters are highly recommended.
- Dances are taught and walked through, then prompted as you dance—all instruction is non-gendered.
- Best suited for teens and adults with the ability to walk briskly.
- Attend with or without a partner; we’ll change partners throughout the afternoon.
- Casual, comfortable clothing; shoes with low heels (flip flops and slides don’t work!)
- $10-$15 sliding scale.
