English Country Dance – Outdoors

Dance outdoors in a lovely town park (with a view of Mount Mansfield). We dance to (mostly acoustic) music in a roofed, open-sided pavilion. All dances are taught and walked through. Basics/review session at 3:30pm; dancing to live music starts 4pm. Newcomers welcome. The ability to walk briskly is required. BYO filled water bottle (there is no water source on-site). Wear sturdy/cushioned shoes for the smooth concrete floor. After the dance, join us for an on-site picnic (BYO food and drink). Portalets are in the parking lot (about a 5-minute walk from the dance pavilion).

This afternoon, our band is Larks in the Attic (Pam Bockes – guitar, Susan Reid – violin, Linda Young – harp), with local caller(s) TBA (Barrett Grimm, Martha Kent, Val Medve). Additional summer Sundays, with different bands: July 21, August 25, September 8. Masks are optional.
