English Country Dance – Outdoors

Dance outdoors in a lovely town park (with a view of Mount Mansfield). We dance to (mostly acoustic) music in a roofed, open-sided pavilion. All dances are taught and walked through. Basics/review session at 3:30pm; dancing to live music starts 4pm. Newcomers welcome. The ability to walk briskly is required. BYO filled water bottle (there is no water source on-site). Wear sturdy/cushioned shoes for the smooth concrete floor. After the dance, join us for an on-site picnic (BYO food and drink). Portalets are in the parking lot (about a 5-minute walk from the dance pavilion).

This afternoon, our band is Will Patton (tenor guitar), Susan Reid (violin), Linda Young (harp), with local caller(s) TBA (Barrett Grimm, Martha Kent, Val Medve). Additional summer Sundays, with different bands: July 21, August 25, September 8. Masks are optional.
