Learn To Call Square Dances: A Workshop/Dance!

Join us on Sunday, May 4th, 2025 from 1-4pm at Dance Union (16 Bow Street, Somerville, MA) for a workshop/dance hosted by the Somerville Square Dance, where you can learn to call square dances taught by Will Mentor! We’ll begin with a lesson followed by a square dance with live string band music where you can practice your calls! The cost is $30 cash or Venmo.

This workshop is designed for people of all calling levels! Never called before? This workshop is for you! Have experience calling other forms of social dance but are curious about squares? This workshop is also for you!
