A 4th Saturday Contra Dance in SE Connecticut all year around!

  • Time: Dance 7:00-10:00 pm (newcomers session @ 6:45-7:00)
  • Where: Groton Thrive+ Center’s community meeting hall @ 102 Newtown Road, Groton, CT 06340.
  • What: Contra dancing with live music originated in New England and has roots in England, Scotland & France. It is a great way to socialize, exercise and have fun! Beginners often find their face hurts from grinning! Did I say Live Music!
  • Why: To have a wildly fun time, meet new friends in a friendly environment, move to live music and eat delicious homemade pie slices. Did I say homemade pie?
  • $10 per person, $7 students per person, $25 families. Pie $3 per pie slice if you want pie.
