New Year Contra Dance—Portland Country Dance Community

Two bands! Two callers! Electrically charged duo Countercurrent (Alex Sturbaum & Brian Lindsay from Olympia) will open the evening, with fellow Olympian, Jesse Partridge calling. They’ll be followed by our own Noah Grunzweig calling with The Fiddle Hellions Big Band, headed by Betsy Branch, George Penk, Sue Songer and Bill Tomczak. Non-gendered calling. Bring item for dessert potluck if you like. You won’t want to miss this great event in the beautiful ballroom of Norse Hall to start the New Year!
