Peter’s Field – Sean Cooney, Rowan Reinghans, Sam Carter

We’re delighted to present an epic musical chronicle that tells the story of one of the most significant turning points in UK political history—Peter’s Field.
Written and performed by The Young’uns Sean Cooney with Rowan Rheingans and Sam Carter, Peter’s Field is a compelling performance which recounts the day of the Peterloo Massacre in Manchester and the harrowing events that followed.
What to expect: Sean Cooney is highly accomplished at telling the untold stories of the working class, such as The Ballad of Johnny Longstaff.
With 19 original songs and an enthralling spoken narrative drawn from hundreds of eyewitness accounts, Peter’s Field is a beautifully told story, both inspirational and tragic at the same time.
